Dr. Thomas Hicks Surrenders To Police: Coroner Rules Golfer Erica Blasberg Death A Suicide
Tuesday Nevada police have issued an arrest warrant for Dr. Thomas Hicks, and on Wednesday, the man who found Golfer Erica Blasberg's body in her Henderson, Nevada home turned himself in to police.
The warrant includes obstruction of justice charges as it pertains to the removal of items from the scene of Blasberg’s death before police arrived on May 9.
The surrender of Dr. Thomas Hicks is the only news surrounding the tragic death of Erica Blasberg. Besides the coroner's office officially ruling Blasberg's death a suicide, the 911 call placed by Dr. Thomas Hicks to 911 responders was released.
Erica Blasberg's father Mel Blasberg says it is time Dr. Thomas Hicks revealed exactly what he knows surrounding Erica's suicide.
The doctor admitted taking a suicide note by Blasberg and prescription medication he gave her, and then hiding it in his car. He’s now charged with obstruction.
Erica’s father wants Hess to give the family the fact’s of what happened.
“Step up and give us the answers. It’s not going to change what the medical board says. It’s not going to change his civil liabilities, but it will make a difference to us,” he said.
Erica Blasber was ranked 44th in LPGA ranings. She was 25 when she died.
