To the surprise of pretty much no one, photos of the Dutch national soccer team at a Rio nightclub have hit the web. On a recent trip to South America, several players from the Netherlands were spotted at a nightclub dancing with women who aren't their wives.

Among the players in the Netherlands football team photos: Dirk Kuyt, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, John Heitinga and Gregory van der Wiel.

According to Dutch radio report, the players were at a nightclub in Rio de Janeiro where some team members got a little too close to some of the women in the club.

Apparently, John Heitinga commented on the Dutch football team photos:

Defender John Heitinga said it looked worse than it actually was and nobody really did anything wrong. However, he added that he felt really bad about the situation because of their function as role models. Heitinga said he had already spoken to his pregnant wife, who, according to him, was very understanding.
