Minnesota Vikings middle linebacker EJ Henderson suffered a gruesome leg injury during his team's Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The EJ Henderson leg injury took place with six minutes left in the game. The Vikings linebacker tried to make a tackle of Cardinals running back Tim Hightower when his left leg twisted violently. Henderson had to be carted off the field. EJ Henderson's brother and teammate Erin Henderson was there to help his brother as he was taken to the locker room.

Vikings head coach Brad Childress said after the game that EJ Henderson had a broken leg and will spend the night in Phoenix and undergo surgery. Not surprisingly, he is not expected to return to the field this season.

Here is the EJ Henderson broken leg video.
