New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning injured his right heel during yesterday's win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Thus far, it doesn't appear that the Eli Manning injury doesn't appear to serious. Manning reportedly appeared at practice with only a slight limp.

Still, Manning is having an MRI performed on his injured right heel. There are suggestions that the Eli Manning injury is more serious than it appears. It could be an Achilles heel injury.

Chris Mortenen of ESPN also suggests that it could be plantar fasciitis.

Reported 4 ESPN: As I suspected, Eli Manning may have Plantar Fasciitis, awaiting MRI. Painful injury runs from heel across bottom of foot.

It is not plantar fasciitis. he most likly strained the plantar fascia, his immediate response was to lift his heel this would be indicitive of a partial or full rupture
