A friend of mine in Sydney wrote me in great distress over this one.

England move into the last four after defeating Australia 12-10 in the first quarter-final of the IRB Rugby World Cup at Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
He the Wallabies' performance as "limp".
England’s hopes of a second successive World Cup triumph are, remarkably, still alive, Brian Ashton’s much-maligned side answering their many critics with a shock 12-10 victory over Australia in an enthralling quarter-final in Marseille on Saturday afternoon.

Jonny Wilkinson scored all of his side’s points, hitting two penalties in either half to become the tournament's all-time points scorer (234) and edge the reigning World Champions past a disappointingly poor Australian side.
Thanks, macfourie, for sharing these photos.
