Leeds back into trouble again, who just cannot get a string of wins together, Jermain Beckford not taking part in this one, but it's not good enough.

United manager Simon Grayson made two changes to his starting line-up, following the weekend defeat at Huddersfield. Ben Parker replaced the injured Andrew Hughes - Carl Dickinson moving across to right-back for the final appearance of his loan spell - and Jonny Howson came into the midfield in place of the suspended Jonathan Douglas.

And it was United who started brightly with Hereford goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi getting down well to gather a well-struck effort from Dickinson.
