Beckford back doing what he does best, putting Leeds within 2 points of Oldham, with a game in hand, Tranmere have moved up to 1 point behind, but a good run now, could see Leeds right back in it.

Jermaine Beckford scored a goal in each half as Leeds defeated Millwall to boost their League One promotion hopes.

Millwall had the best chance early on when Gary Alexander's header was saved on the goal-line by Casper Ankergren.

But Beckford opened the scoring when he cut into the penalty box and curled a sublime left-footed shot into the top corner to cap a fine Leeds move.

Beckford wrapped up the win in injury time shooting past David Forde after a flick-on from Luciano Becchio.
