Russia 0-3 Spain
Spain produced a superb display to cruise past Russia and set up a Euro 2008 final against Germany on Sunday.
Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas was the driving force behind the win after coming on as substitute for injured David Villa.
Xavi turned home Andres Iniesta's cross after 50 minutes and substitute Daniel Guiza converted a superb pass from Fabregas with 17 minutes left.
Fabregas played in David Silva for a simple third after 82 minutes as a disappointing Russia ended well beaten.

I don't want to sound biased, but yes let's hope so.

It would be nice to see Torres break out. With Villa out and Fabregas likely in, that leaves Torres as the lone striker. It'll certainly be surprising if they don't control midfield.

Walking down to the main screen at the Vienna fanzone, I saw these handsomely dressed gentlemen in full Spain-fan regalia, complete with bunnie ears and Bono-sunglasses. Overall the Spaniards proved to be the coolest and most fun soccer fans I saw in Vienna, together with the Dutch and the Swedes!

Germany and Spain clash in the Final match of Euro 2008. Russia and Spain met in the Group Phase and in the Semifinal, and Spain thoroughly dominated Russia in both matches, en route to a resounding 3-0 victory.
During their respective Quarterfinal matches, Russia looked like the stronger team as they outplayed and outworked a Dutch team that had gone undefeated in the Group of Death, while Spain struggled to a shootout win against underachieving Italy. Russia was not the same on Thursday 25th.
The second verse was the same as the first! Russia did not get their revenge!

I was surprised how peaceful the fans have been at all the soccer games in Salzburg. Great! If you like to see more photos from the UEFA Euro 2008 visit euro-2008.fanpage.eu.org. There are a lot of photos of fans from Greece, Sweden and Spain.
