The deaths of nine eventing riders in 2007 has spurred the FEI Safety Forum to stop at nothing to reduce or eliminate serious accidents. British rider Eleanor Brennan
was among nine riders killed during eventing competition in 2007.
Brennan's horse was also fatally injured in the accident. (Picture:

Unfortunately there have been seven rider deaths in 2008, and at least nine horse deaths.
