Exclusive: Arsenal Keen On Kalou, Huntelaar

With the arrival of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, the first team chances of  Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar seems to have dimmed further. He has been linked to the likes AC Milan, Marseille and even Tottenham. Now Arsenal have also made enquiries about the 25-year-old, with sources close to the club suggesting that Wenger would be willing to pay £10 million, which in turn would be funded by Emmanuel Adebayor’s sale to AC Milan for close to £17 million.   Another player who Arsenal are interested in is Chelsea’s Salomon Kalou. Last season Wenger asked then Chelsea coach Luiz Felipe Scolari about Kalou’s availability.  However, Scolari refused to let Arsenal talk to the player, a fact admitted by Wenger in a press conference in February.
