Fake Ichiro Suzuki Fan Interference Video 2011: Ichiro Imposter
A Fake Ichiro Suzuki Attended the Seattle Mariners Game on August 3, 2011 And Ended Up Interfering With the Game. Here is the Ichiro Impersonator Video
This Seattle Mariners fan wanted a little attention but he got a little more than he bargained for on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. One fan dressed up as Ichiro Suzuki and actually bore a striking resemblance to the Mariners outfielder. The negative attention came when the Ichiro impersonator actually got involved with the game.
Mariners second baseman Dustin Ackley hit a ball down the right field line that looked like it might go for a triple. Then the fake Ichiro Suzuki reached out and grabbed the ball, forcing umpires to give Ackley a ground-rule double.
The Ichiro impersonator realized his mistake and was embarrassed by the play. Eventually the umpires gave Ackley third base, so the fake Ichiro had no real impact on the game.
In the end, the Ichiro impersonator was asked to leave the game by security.
