Fenway Park's Quirky Rule: Game Day Ticket Sales

NY Times' Baseball page had a feature about Fenway Park's Game Day Ticket Sales.  It delves into their policy to reserve a handful of tickets for sale only on game days for every single regular and postseason game at Fenway.  It's part of their strategy to diversify their crowds so that not every single seat belongs to an 81 game season ticket holder.

I am a huge fan of this because it rewards the crazy diehard fanatics that are willing to show up at extremely early hours of the morning to get in a good spot in line.  I think it would be wise if more teams followed in the Red Sox' footsteps and added some spice to their home games.
