Florida fans are notoriously tardy to football games. Saturdays in the fall are like parties in this town, and the tailgaters file in fashionably late.

Like the rain falling from lazy skies, They trickled into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium throughout the first quarter on Saturday. Some of the 90,646 in attendance even waited until the second quarter to make an appearance. And that was is a shame. By then, the game was over.

No. 3 Florida defeated No. 24 South Carolina 56-6. on Saturday. Florida forced three turnovers in the span of 54 seconds in the first quarter.
