French boat “Energy”, led by the french champion Loick Peyron, won the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />America’s Cup World Series in Venice. The Italian boat, “Luna Rossa” didn’t make it, neither in the final match race versus the Swedish “Artemis”, who dominated the game from the beginning. About 80.000 people watched the race from the fascinating shores of Canal Grande, near St. Mark’s Square. The next America’s Cup World Series will take place in Newport, R.I, USA, from the 26th of June to the 1st of July.
