Gary Connery Completes 1st Parachute-Free Skydive. Thankfully There's Video

Check out the awesome video below, as stuntman Gary Connery becomes the first person to complete a skydive from a helicopter without a parachute.

Gary Connery, a 42-year-old veteran of nearly 900 jumps, used a wingsuit for the 2,400ft skydive. Wingsuits have been used in plane-drop and cliff-jump stunts before, but the landing has always been the tough part: wingsuit stunts tend to end with parachute deployment.

Connery went parachute-free, landing on a strip of giant foam blocks.
