George Foreman III Wins First Boxing Match With KO
Boxer George Foreman III--the son of legendary boxer and grill impresario George Foreman--made his professional boxing debut at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, LA this weekend.
Foreman III looked impressive in his debut, knocking out Clyde Weaver of Parsons, Tenn. Despite his boxing pedigree, George Foreman III came late to boxing. The 6'5", 236-pound Foreman had no amateur experience and waited until he was 26 years old to make his pro debut.
His famous father has taken him under his wing, and says that George Foreman III is a chip off the old block.
"You never know. This guy surprised me. A guy can train in the gym and look real good. But then they get in the ring and is a flop," the elder Foreman said. "Now I know he's a fighter."
George Foreman has five sons, all of whom are named George. Before taking up boxing, George Foreman III, who also goes by the name of Monk, has served as his father's business manager.

I was at this fight and i can not believe that Louisiana boxing committee sanctioned this fight! It was the biggest joke i have ever seen. Bigger joke the Tyson vs. Mc Neely. Mc Neely fought back! I mean weaver never had a chance. I know it was Foreman's first fight, but get someone that is somewhat his own size and maybe throw a punch are two. I just want to get my point across that this was a joke and i cant not believe that i waited that late in the night to watch that fight! (Punching bag Workout)

I think that George III's opponent may have been able to take me out. But then again, I am 5'6'', 156, and am 64 years old. I've no doubt that his opponent was at least in the heavyweight class in terms of weight. I do have a George Foreman grill and will continue to be a loyal customer. Good product.

Nice to see good thinks happen to George Foreman and his son George III.
George Sr. is and was a class act ever since he waved that little USA flag in the ring at the Olympics.
