The New York Giants have one the NFC Championship will meet the AFC Champions New England Patriots during Super Bowl XLVI.
The New York Giants and the San Fransisco 49ers ended the regulatory game in a tie that resulted in over time. With just over 9 minutes left, The Giants upset the Niners by a 31-yard field goal by Lawrence Tynes, winning the game.
This will be the second time in 4 years that the Giants and Patriots will meet in the Super Bowl. In 2008, the teams met for Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Arizona.
