Washington Wizard Gilbert Arenas Gun Problems and Lawsuit

It looks like Gilbert Arenas has more gun problems to deal with. This time the Washington Wizards star is facing a gun lawsuit filed by a weapons training and equipment company called Tactical Operations over the purchase of Beretta pistols according to TMZ.

We've obtained a lawsuit filed against Arenas by Tactical Operations -- a company that sells high-end guns. 


According to the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Arenas bought five custom Beretta pistols with five silencers in February of 2006.  Arenas paid for the guns, BUT....

Tactical Operations claims Arenas never took possession of the weapons -- and owes the company over $70,000 in storage fees and interest.

Gilbert Arenas is now serving his gun sentence spending his nights at halfway house in Rockville, Maryland. 

Arenas, a guard for the Washington Wizards plead guilty to a felony gun charge after brandished guns in the Washington Wizards locker room.


Montgomery County is letting him serve his sentence there, as part of an agreement with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In addition to the 30 days, Arenas was sentenced to a $5,000 fine and 400 hours of community service that can't be performed at basketball clinics.
