Giresse Leaves Gabon

Alain Giresse has just quit as Coach of the Gabon National Team after Gabon lost to Cameroon two to zero. The reason has been the palpable anger in Gabon after the loss. Alain Giresse has stated that he no longer feels safe in Gabon and that police had to escort the team from the stadium after Gabon lost the African Nations Championship. Mr. Giresse has also stated that he was the first one targeted.
