Mexican soccer team "upset" victory in Brazil by the first gold medal of the London Olympic

Mexico beats Brazil as the Mexican striker Peralta struck after just 30 seconds and sealed one of the all-time great Olympic victories when he scored again late in the second half.

Mexico is celebrating the first gold medal in London 2012 while some media calls it an upset victory.

Mexico deserved to win this game.  The had a cohesive team effort.  While Lady Luck plaid some part, the early goal (28 sec) by Parata set the stage.  The game showed that cohesiveness as a team beats individual efforts every time.  Congratulations to Mexico.  I was impressed by their play.  It bodes well for the future of Mexican soccer.
