Part of the second level of the grandstand at the Columbus Speedway has collapsed at about 5:15pm today: six people are reported as injured and at least one person is still trapped in the rubble.

Numerous medics and rescue squads were on the scene at 1845 Williams Rd. in Obetz.

It is not yet known if the races will still go on as scheduled tonight.
The NASCAR Whelen all-American Series late models, the Columbus Modifieds, the Sport Stocks and the Crazy Compacts were all scheduled races tonight.
