A coach who wanted to call his team of 6 and 7 year old girls 'Green Death' and who sent an e-mail to his players' parents telling them to feed their daughters 'undercooked red meat' and then also stated 'losing is for losers' has now resigned. He says that he was just joking about the e-mail.

League official Chris Park told the Patriot Ledger of Quincy that Kinahan has a "wry, sarcastic" sense of humor and some parents understood the e-mail's tone. But others didn't and complained.

Coach Michael Kinahan also mentioned in the e-mail that he expected his players to 'bleed a little' and he wanted parents to get more involved and cheer, not just sit on the sidelines.

I'm glad the coach resigned.
