University of Hawaii football coach Greg McMackin has gotten himself in hot water over using a slur against homosexuals in reference to Notre Dame.
So what did Greg McMackin say?
"The night before the game ... Charlie gave this talk, and then he goes, 'Any Notre Dame fans in here?' ... He had his guys, 'We do something special at Notre Dame,' he said, and they get out and they do this little cheer ... like this ... this little faggot dance. ... So my guys are looking at me ... and they're all trying not to laugh ... So our guys get up and it's the best Haka I've ever seen. ... It was a little scary. So I think Notre Dame watched that and said 'We better have ourselves ready.'"
Greg McMacking has been officially sanctioned by the University of Hawaii. McMackin is suspended without pay for 30 days. He also accepted a 7 percent pay cut, which means that $1 million-plus contract will be reduced by $169,000. He's also offered to do outreach to homosexual groups.
Here is an audio clip of the Greg McMackin slur.

While such language should not be tolerated by anyone, I believe the coach will find the Gay community most forgivable. Yes, the word is ugly and treats others as less then, but he will be treated by the Gay community far better then he would have guessed.Which brings me to another issue... Americans need to stand up and take notice. Gay rights are not a "Gay" issue. Who are we kidding here? We've got to educate the masses on these subjects.I think it is remarkable, we've been fighting two wars to protect our freedoms and rights and yet we are voting all over the country to take away rights from "certain" American citizens. It's shameful, wrong and immoral.Look at the Mormon church and what they did in California? Truly shameful. Saddam threatened the rights of Americans and we went to WAR, the Mormon church does the same and we do nothing?? For the first time in the history of the United States, We just voted in California to remove rights from citizens. And who are we kidding here? When a single right is taken from just ONE American, these rights are taken from all of us.Americans have become a very ME ME ME ME ME, we generally don't care about issues unless it personally effects us. Well guess what... THIS does effect you. Stand up and be counted. We need to educate the population on what the Mormons have done... something like this should not be allowed to happen in a free society. In Nazi Germany... the Christians once said... "It's okay because they're JEWS, as the Christians supported Hitler... yeah true fact! Then in America, the Christians once said... "It's okay, because they're BLACK, as the Christians supported SLAVERY" Yeah, another true fact, they even used their Bibles to support such hatred. As the they did in the 1960's when the Christians fled to the streets carrying their bibles to profess if BLACKS were allowed to marry whites, this would ruin and destroy marriage and families. Now today.... the Christians are at it again... today, they say "It's okay because they're Gay" Well, I'm here to tell you... It was NOT okay in Nazi Germany and it surely is not okay in the United States of America in the year 2009America... stand up and be counted today. What are you so afraid of? Today, we take rights away from "Certain" United States Citizens.... tomorrow it might just be YOU!
