Australian golfer Greg Norman is about to captain the international team at the 2009 Presidents Cup. What many fans are focusing on, however, is Greg Norman's separation from wife Chris Evert. Last week, Greg Norman announced that and Chris Evert were separating after just 15 months of marriage.

Norman and Evert were wed in a lavish ceremony in the Bahamas in June of last year, after both left their previous spouses to be with one another. Greg Norman's divorce proved to be very costly for the Aussie golf legend. Norman's divorce from Laura Andrassy cost him more than $100 million.

The golfer, however, refuses to let the Norman-Evert separation become an issue at the 2009 Presidents Cup.

"I'm not going to talk about any of that personal life right now," Norman said on Tuesday. "The situation right now is we are here for the Presidents Cup and it's all about the Presidents Cup."

While neither have talked about it, one source says that the Greg Norman-Chris Evert separation may have stemmed from the fact that Evert didn't want to live at Norman's $60 million estate in Jupiter, FL.

How saaad... poor Chrissy... I would hate to have to live in a raunchy house like that too. Tell Greg my husband and I will come take care of his house for him, and keep him  company too!! I'm sure there is more to the story than the "source" knows, but they have to keep it juicy for the readers....
