The Calgary Stampeders and their fans  are celebrating the team's 22-14 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the 96th Grey Cup.

Fans in Calgary poured out onto the streets after the win, although in smaller numbers than were anticipated. Fans will get a chance to thank the team in person during a ceremony Monday at McMahon Stadium at 2 pm. There will also be a victory rally at Olympic Plaza on Tuesday at 11:45 am.

Meanwhile, the Alouettes are wondering what went wrong. After a stellar season, the team ended up losing in the final in front of their home fans. The team has made six Grey Cup appearances since 2000 and only have one championship in 2002 to show for it.

Alouettes can never win the big game. 1/6 is horrible. That is a 17% chance of winning in the Grey Cup.
