Not who you might think.

Not to take anything away from Tiger Woods and his story or his character or charisma, but this is another story that needs to be told.
Now about Erik:
Day 2.
If you want to see a truly indicative scorecard for his day, don't look at the one he signed. Try this:
Holes played: 20. Birdies: 4. Hours slept: 3.
Compton, 10 months removed from his second transplant, has a daughter, Petra, born Feb. 22, which explains that last number.
Walking a third consecutive round for the first time in competition since his heart transplant last May, Compton also produced some spectacular play.
Unhappy when his drive at the par-4 sixth hole rolled into a divot, he stewed over his options. Finally settling on a club, he ripped an approach that stopped 18 inches from the hole.
At the end of the day and the tournament, with a final of +3 he took a position of T44. With the long list of competitors who came after him or who did not finish or did not make the final cut, this man is remarkable for his second time out this season.
Erik was joined by a fan, a 14 year old boy named John Paul George, who
has a condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome, meaning the left side of the heart hasn't formed properly
in the second round of the Honda Classic, a two-time heart transplant recipient and a boy who may eventually need one walked side by side, the intertwining of their stories adding yet another element to Compton's comeback tale.
"I walked a lot, that's for sure," John Paul said.
Compton could be riding in a cart while playing now to conserve his strength — the PGA Tour has given him permission to do so — but the South Florida native said he wants to walk so transplant patients can see what is possible. John Paul could have ridden as well, and his father even offered to carry him at times Friday.
The boy always declined.
I repeat, this guy is a sports hero.
