Worlds’ most popular car championship is on the edge after 8 F1 teams announced about their plans to stage their own championship in 2010.

During recent few years a lot of negotiation been going on between FiA and FOTA. But there always been a solution suitable for both sides. After Max Mosley, the FiA president, introduced 40 million pounds budget gap F1 team association rejected it.

On Friday morning 8 F1 teams announced plans to stage rival championship. “Disappointed but not surprised” – FiA statement claimed.

Three time world champion Jackie Stewart thinks that it’s time for Mosley to leave. "It may well be that Max Mosley has to go. He has a great position of power, but big trees do blow over."

Two time world champion Fernando Alonso talks about the end of F1. "If we do not race in Formula 1 next year it changes many things. It won't be the same. We know we'll race, but it will be different."  "The new series will be the new Formula 1."

Ferrari, McLaren, Brawn, BMW, Toyota, Renault, Red Bull and Scuderia Toro Rosso – teams to stage new championship or solution will be found.

60 year of F1 and in the evening everything will be clear – if F1 will survive or no

I have been boycotting this race for 20 years and asking to make it Environment friendly and I do like racing, however it is time for a Hydrogen engine and F1 should lead the way.

Gave up watching F1 after Schumacher quit. There's no driver that can rise your attention and there's no more interest in race because of the rules.

Bring the rival championship!!!
