Honolulu Marathon 2009: Results, Video, Photos

The Honolulu Marathon 2009 took place on Sunday, Dec. 13. The men's category of the 2009 Honolulu Marathon was dominated by Kenyans. The top five male finishers at the 2009 Honolulu Marathon all hailed from the African nation. Patrick Ivuti won the 2009 Honolulu Marathon with a time of 2 hours, 12 minutes and 14 seconds. Countryman Nicholas Chelimo finished less than a minute behind with a time of 2:13:10. Kenyans William Chebon, Jimmy Mwangangi, and Gilbert Chepkwony rounded out the top five.

The women's category at the Honolulu Marathon was won by Svetlana Zakharov, who had a time of 2:28:34.
