Hulk Hogan Settles Sex Tape Lawsuit

It has been quite the embarrassing situation for Hulk Hogan, and finally the pro wrestler has settled his lawsuit over a sex tape his former buddy Bubby the Love Sponge released a few weeks back.

The Hulkster received an apology from Bubba (aka Todd Alan Clem) for leaking the graphic video, though the rest of the settlement terms have not been disclosed.

Clem wrote, "It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video's release in any way."

The explicit clip, thought to be from the year 2007, depicts a sex act between Hogan and his best friend’s ex-wife, Heather Clem. 

After Bubba leaves the room, Hulk can be seen getting up close and personal with Heather, at which time he asks her if she'd had sex with her husband earlier in the day. 

Once all is said and done, the wrestling tells Clem, “You're a hot commodity” before getting up to head off on his way.

In a statement to press, Hulk (aka Terry Bollea) declared, "First off, I had no idea there was a camera in the room. It was at a very, very low point. I'm not making excuses. I'm accountable. I was the guy. I was there. I made the choice."

He added, "For me, I'm going full-blown to find out who did this to me and why and what's the motive. I had no idea someone would put a camera in a room."

Two weeks ago, Hulk Hogan and his attorneys held a press conference to announce their plans to go forward with a lawsuit against Todd Clem, a.k.a. Bubba the Love Sponge, and Clem's ex-wife, who is featured in the tape. Hogan believes the former spouses are responsible for recording his encounter. A second suit attacks the website Gawker, who posted a clip from the tape earlier this month.

The Hulkster is seeking $100 million in damages from Gawker for leaking the footage.

Attorneys for Hogan called the recording and distribution of the sex tape "illegal, outrageous, and exceeding the bounds of human decency."
