The ICC World Cup 2011 is Over, and India Beat Sri Lanka

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the man of the match, and led India to victory.

Dhoni is the world's highest paid player, but he proved why with his performance on Saturday at the ICC World Cup 2011 final.

India has now assumed the number one position.

The vociferous, jam-packed crowd at the Wankhede stadium erupted in wild celebrations as Dhoni hit the winning six runs to give India their biggest cricketing moment and crown themselves the ODI world champions, in addition to being the number one Test team.

This was also special for coach Gary Kristen as it was his last day as Indian coach.

What an awesome win for team India, and what a great day for the GOD of cricket sachin tendulkar i have never seen hin so happy and in the end the credit goes to Mr. Cool the captain of Indian and a man who lead from the front , it was his innings that lead india to victory in this great sporting event. Kudos to team India and Kudos to all who supported team India.
