ICC World T20 2012 schedule, time-table, fixtures

The ICC World T20 2012 schedule has been released and 12 teams will play 27 games to decide the winner of this fourth edition of the tournament.

England will be the defending champions in the World T20 2012, while Australia, who have never won the title, were the previous World T20’s finalists. So far, India, Pakistan and England have won the title once apiece.

According to the World T20 2012 schedule, the 12 teams are divided into four groups of three each. The teams play each other in a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group going through to the Super Eights.

The eight teams are further divided into two groups of four each and they play in a round-robin yet again. The top two sides make it to the semi-finals, followed by the final on October 7.
