 India clash with Afghanistan (Ind vs Afg) in their first World Cup 2012 game in Colombo on Wednesday, September 19, 2012.

Afghanistan's strike bowler Hamid Hassan has been ruled out due to injury. He missed the warm-up games as well.

Yuvraj Singh is back after recovering from cancer and is most likely to play in this game for India.

India lost their warm-up game against Pakistan despite posting a solid 185 runs. The pitch is going to be the same in this game as well. India will look to field first in this game, if they win the toss.

The Times of India wrote, "A win will ensure a Super Eights berth for champions of the 2007 edition even before they take on England in their second and final group league match on September 23.
