India now No. 2 Team in ICC ODI Ranking, Australia now No. 3

ICC has updated its ODI ranking after the Australia vs New Zealand 2nd ODI Match. New Zealand defeated the Australians by Six Wickets. This is Australia's lowest ranking since many years. They have been top most of times and for some months on spot 2. India has now displaced Australians 2nd Spot. If India wins 5th ODI they might be No. 1 Team for some time as South Africa is expected to defeat Australia. Never the less their is tough tour for India in New Zealand. It has been now several years, India travelled to New Zealand.

India today displaced Australia as the no. 2 team in ICC's ODI Rankings after New Zealand defeated the world champions by six wickets in the second ODI in MCG, Melbourne.

Australia’s loss demoted them to no3. in the one-day rankings – their lowest ranking in over a decade. New Zealand beat Australia by 6 wickets in the second ODI of the series to help India pip Australia. Beating Sri Lanka 4-0 in the ongoing ODI series also helped India to rise in the rankings.

Being an American (ugly or not is a question) I did not understand what this story was about until I read the source. To be candid, I did have a guess but was not sure. I think a mention that it is about the sport of Cricket, might be in order and will increase interest in the article and sport overall.
