India A vs Australia A, 2nd Match: Day 1

Rain truncated the first day’s play between India A and Australia A at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium at Hyderabad.

Australian captain Simon Katich won the toss and elected to bat after the rain stopped and play got underway. Immediately then Indian pacers Kulkarni and Tyagi struck to reduce the visitors to 82 for 3. Only Katich gave some resistance with solid 32.

The first match was drawn after Australia A were made to follow on.
