The Indian team will also want to end the tour with a clean slate after an ODI white-wash and complete a win-less tour for the opposition. India’s batsmen select themselves with the only question being whether Manoj Tiwary will get a look in ahead of Ravindra Jadeja – whose spin was very effective in the ODIs, and whose batting has also improved. However, the team management may opt to go in with two spinners in R Aswhin and Rahul Sharma, and take in the pure batsman Tiwary instead of the bits-and-pieces Jadeja. Given that Sharma has earned a surprise call-up to the Test squad, it may not be a bad idea to give him a taste of international cricket before he dons the whites.
