The first Cricket Test between India vs England will be played at the Lord's Cricket Stadium in London from July 21-25, 2011.

The match will start at 3:30 p.m. India time.

These two teams have played ninety-nine Tests over 28 series. Seventy-one ODIs and two Twenty20 internationals. This is the 100th test between these two teams and 200th ODI overall.

England has to win the four match Test series by at least two Tests to topple India from the top ranking test team in the world.

India, with all its celebrity players, will go all-out to avoid England surpassing them in the test rankings, overall a interesting contest.

With everything around this Test, the atmosphere is setup beautifully. The venue is Lord's. This is the 2000th Test, and the 100th test between these two teams. The number 1 ICC Test ranking is at stake.

Sachin Tendulkar could score his 100th international hundred - perhaps at Lord's, where he has never scored one.

Regarding the Lord's pitch, its expected to be normal, good for batting, not too quick or bouncy. The main threat for the batsmen remains the overcast conditions.
