Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh continued his excellent performance. After slamming a hundred in the Indian inning, Yuvraj Singh struck with the ball and broke the 96-run partnership between Owais Shah and Matt Prior as he dismissed the duo in his successive overs in the second ODI at Indore. Yuvraj Singh displayed his charisma not only with the bat, but also with the ball.

India posted a very competitive total of 292 runs against England in the second ODI at Indore. The wrecker-in-charge for the home team was the blistering Yuvraj Singh who stamped his authority yet again.

England bowlers managed to pull back the scoring with regularly taking wickets but Yusuf Pathan’s cameo towards the end meant that the hosts notched up a fine score to defend. He cracked his maiden ODI fifty in an innings that saw some brilliant shot-making by the burly all-rounder.

Stuart Broad made his presence felt yet again at Indore as he got the prized scalp of Yuvraj Singh for a score of 118 runs. His fourth wicket came just in time to nip back the boundaries by the Indian batsmen towards the death overs.

Yuvraj Singh had earlier proved his weight worth in gold as he slammed his second consecutive century, his 10th ODI hundred overall, to bolster India’s chances in the seven match series.

His feat was followed up with a brilliant bowling performance by Paul Collingwood as he clean bowled MS Dhoni for a score of 15 runs. With half the team back in the pavilion, Yusuf Pathan walked in to provide support to the southpaw.
