After the grand spectacle of Test matches, the action will descend into the hurly-burly of limited overs cricket. A different Indian team will take the field against Sri Lanka at the Vidharbha Cricket Association Stadium for the first Twenty20 International. There will be no Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman in the middle order, and familiar Twenty20 names such as Irfan Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja will also be missing as will the rested duo of Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh. 

Ironically enough, it was a Twenty20 victory that started the Indian surge to the top, or near the top, of the rankings charts, but it is in Twenty20 that India is the weakest. After the 2007 World Cup triumph, there have not been too many Twenty20 victories of note, while Test and ODI triumphs have been significant.
