Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat here at Colombo on Sunday. Winning the toss, Open Jayasurya and Dilshan hitted well. Jayasurya with aggression hitted all bowlers particularly Ishant Sharma. After departure of Jayasurya, Dilshan and Sanagakarra Continued the score running in the right way. Sri Lankan lost 4 wickets in quick session. They were at 256/2 and after 7 balls at 256/6. Sri Lankan scored 320/8 at the end of 50.0 Over and set the target of 321 in 50 overs.

India lost Sehwag, Gambhir and Raina very early and come under the pressure of Sri Lankan bowlers. At the time of reporting India were at 213/7 in 41 Overs. Hence, required another 108 runs in 54 ball.
