India vs West Indies T20 match 2011: Preview and Live Score
Indian cricket team is going to start their tour series with taking the host team, West Indies, in the only T20 match starting today (4th June 2011) at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. It is scheduled to take place at 14:00 GMT and 19:30 Indian Standard Time.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see the clash between these two teams. It is thought to be an exciting game and from this game both teams are expecting to get some future star cricketers as both the teams are consisting of almost new players.
As many senior players like- Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, have opted out their names from the only T20 and ODI matches, Indian selectors have included a bunch of promising new faces in the squad.
It is going to be a big challenge for Suresh Raina as he will lead the young studded Indian cricket team against West Indies. For the second time, he has got the captaincy. He was given the captaincy first time for the tri-nation series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. He had gathered bad experience. So, he has been questioned if he can successfully lead his team this time.
West Indies will also be looking like a young team because of the exclusion of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Keiron Pollard. Darren Sammy will lead the new-look West Indies team.
