Mumbai: The Indian Electronic Media has decided to boycott coverage of the World Cup cricket final between India and Sri Lanka at the Wankhade stadium here. The media was protesting against the ICC’s attitude towards the Indian media. The ICC has imposed a ban on the Indian TV media and said it could not permit the cameras of so many channels inside the stadium. However bowing down to pressures, the ICC has lifted the ban on Friday. However, on Saturday morning, it has black listed some channels and imposed restrictions on others. Protesting against the attitude of the international body, Indian TV media has decided to boycott coverage. They are showing visuals by the Star cricket which is telecasting the game live.
