Indo -Aus test : India won toss elected to bat 1st by Amitjha

After lot of uncertanity about Kumbke's fitness finally Dhony is leading the team India in second test of Mohali.

New Delhi: Anil Kumble declared himself unfit as stand-in captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and decided to have a bat in the second Test against Australia at Mohali on Friday.

Kumble, who turned 38 on Friday, left the decision of playing himself until the morning of the Test but the team management decided against risking him, which handed a Test debut to Haryana leg-spinner Amit Mishra.

Australia also went into the Test with a change, with paceman Stuart Clark's elbow injury making way for right-arm fast bowler Peter Siddle's debut.

Teams:

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, Amit Mishra, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma.

Australia: Ricky Ponting (captain), Matthew Hayden, Simon Katich, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke, Shane Watson, Brad Haddin, Cameron White, Brett Lee, Peter Siddle, Mitchell Johnson

Hi,

kangaroos will bounce back on the third test . They have a new but gromming players for the comming world cup. They are just getting into the winning groove. Once thats done they are back to their former status as world champions. I would like any one to comment on this . They are the winners during crunch matches. Right guys at the right time of the game. Thats the key to their success. No wonder they hold the heighest title for more than a decade.
