Ingvar Neumann, a 24-year-old rider from Tartu, Estonia, recently completed what some believe to be the first lateral bike flip.

The Ingvar Neumman BMX kick flip has been dubbed the "Neu Flip" but Neumann has called the lateral bike flip "HD, for Heavy Drug, High Definition and Happy Day."

The Ingvar Neumann BMX bike flip shows the young rider performing a flyout-style jump. As he jumps off a ramp, his bike flips sideways 360 degrees in mid-air only to have him catch it and land safely.

Neumann has said that he hopes he is the first person to ever complete the lateral bike flip. For years, riders have tried to complete the trick using trampoline bikes. The trick was even was even featured in the "Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2" video game.
