Inside the Box 4 (NP Sports Card Review)...Free Hockey Cards

Today is National Hockey Card Day in Canada but the crew at Insidethebox just couldn’t wait so we decided to brake into a 2008-2009 Fleer Ultra Hockey Hobby Box (Retail - $65.99) The break turned out to be more of an anticipatory reaction to Saturday’s big day then an official box review, although I will attempt to locate a copy of the Fleer Hobby Box specs to be posted at the end of this article. Local retailers across Canada will be giving away five (5) card packs of Upper Deck Hockey card as part of a National Hockey Card Day promotion. The individual cards, part of a fifteen card set will feature NHL rookies, superstars and legends and will be available at your favourite hobby shop, Wal-Mart, Toys-R-Us or London Drugs. This weeks box bust really has very little to do with National Hockey Card Day, except for the fact that the entire crew was eecked all week about the up coming promotion, so much so that we had to go out and buy a hobby box, at retail cost to keep the hound at bay.
