IPL 5 Schedule 2012: April 4 to May 27, 74 Matches

The IPL-5 has been scheduled after India’s return from their tour of Australia and South Africa’s tour of New Zealand in March. There are several series like WI tour of England, Australia tour of WI, and also Pakistan to play Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, that are expected to mix up with IPL-5 and that may result to absence of some international players.
"We are happy to confirm the dates of IPL-5 2012, ten months in advance. The IPL-5 schedule will be announced soon. We have no doubt that the fifth season of IPL will be as, if not more, eventful and exciting than the previous ones," Said, IPL Chairman Chirayu Amin.
A total of 74 matches will be played over a period of 54 days.  The match schedule will be announced soon.
