The IPL Indian Premier League match Deccan Chargers vs Bangalore Royal Challengers was played at Bangalore on May 3. A last over thriller won by Bangalore with Deccan one hit away from glory. Brilliant innings by Rohit Sharma in the company of Laxman though the two didn't see it through despite having the match in control. Deccan had a couple of iffy decisions but Misbah too had one during Bangalore's innings. Earlier, setting a total, Bangalore faced their consistent problem in the tournament - losing a flurry of wickets at the wrong times. Virat Kohli finally showed some of his clean striking abilities but didn't capitalize 38 (29). So a lowish total of 156 only because of some blows by Dravid and Boucher at the end.
