Kieron Pollard: It was good, the team needed it. I am always the one to take the chance. Rajasthan gave a good fight, Shah batted really well. But we knew that 10-11 runs an over would be difficult. The atmosphere has been fantastic, we were sad that we could not win the first game. You can say that Mumbai is my second home. Cricket is my career and profession.

As expected, Kieron Pollard is the Man of the Match

Harbhajan: We needed a wicket at that point of time and you can expect Malinga to take a wicket at anytime of the match. If Shah would have batted a few more overs, the match would have gotten over in the 19th over. Due to the dew factor it is difficult to grip the ball.

Rahul Dravid; When Shah was batting, we thought we had a chance. We knew he had to go till the end. Malinga was brilliant. Plenty of positives, we have got a young and inexperienced bowling attack. When Pollard gets going, they did panic. This will be a good lesson for them.

Munaf Patel: Owais was batting really well. Wicket was easier as the dew came on. Picking wickets was the key. Malinga is the best bowler in the IPL. The conditions in Mumbai are difficult for bowling. We will look to win by a big margin in the next game.

Mumbai hold their nerve to notch up their third win of the tournament. After Pollard and Rayudu took them to a huge total, it was the turn of Malinga, Munaf and Pollard again, to seal the win. Spare a thought for the boys from Rajasthan, they gave the home side some nerve-racking moments. The messrs were Owais Shah and Ajinkya Rahane, who kept their side in the hunt, but sadly the tail could not carry them forward. Pollard will surely be the Man of the Match, having blasted 64 from 33 balls and taking 4 wickets in his 4 overs.
