IPL Live Score PWI vs KXIP - Pune vs Mohali
Sourav Ganguly wins the toss and Pune Warriors will have a bat at a stadium they can finally call home, the Sahara Stadium on the outskirts of Pune.
Adam Gilchrist says he would have batted as well. Ashish Nehra is in for Pune, as is Jesse Ryder.
A packed stadium cheered as Ganguly won the toss. This is the first time Warriors are playing in front of their home crowd in the IPL. They spent the entire last season playing their 'home' games at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, about a couple of hours up the road adjacent to which the new stadium is located
Kings XI ran into Ajinkya Rahane in their first game against Rajasthan Royals while Warriors defended 129 quite comfortably against Mumbai Indians in their season opener
Gilchrist: This is an amazing stadium and the crowd is filling up very fast. Unfortunately, Shaun Marsh is out with a back injury and Mascarenhas replaces him. I am looking forward to having a good match. I also would have batted first, but we will try to restrict them under 160.
Ganguly: The stadium looks very good, though its not fully complete. I was happy to see a packed crowd in the last match. Still lot of cricket is left, but we will try to put up a consistent performance. We will bat. It will turn as the match progresses. Ryder opens the batting today and Nehra is also back in the side.
Pune have won the toss and elected to bat
