J.R. Smith is a social media guru, of sorts. The New York Knicks guard has quite the fan base on Twitter and he's not afraid to reach to them, at least those of the female persuasion. On February 21, 2013, a J.R. Smith Twitter conversation with a young female fan made the rounds on Twitter. The brief conversation ended with Smith asking, "You trying to get the pipe?"

We'll leave it to your imagination to guess what he meant by giving her the pipe. The folks on Twitter have made their own decisions and started their own #YouTryingToGetThePipe hashtag.

Smith seems to be having fun with the whole "You Want the Pipe" meme, tweeting out an Instagram photo of pipes.
