Jared Allen Bar Fight Video: Allen Defends Fiancee Amy Johnson
Jared Allen Got Into a Verbal Brawl in a Bar After Someone Allegedly Called His Fiancee Amy Johnson a Bad Word. Here's the Jared Allen Bar Video
If you're going to crack wise in a bar, it's probably best not to do it to Jared Allen. The Minnesota Vikings defensive end got into a heated verbal fight in an Arizona bar and someone got it on video.
So What Caused the Jared Allen Bar Fight Video?
According to TMZ who uncovered the video, a patron at the bar allegedly called Jared Allen's fiancee Amy Johnson a "word that rhymes with 'punt.'"
As a rule, it's never a good idea to use the "C" word. It's especially a bad idea when you use it to insult a woman who is engaged to a 6'6", 270-pound man who is paid millions of dollars a year to hit people.
What Did Jared Allen Say?
Jared Allen told the patron: "I'll break your f--king neck homeboy ... and then I'll write a check to your f--king name too." Amy Johnson got in Allen's way, preventing the incient from escalating further.
The Pro Bowler seemed to calm down somewhat, allowing Amy Johnson to move him backward. He eventually walked away without dismembering the bar patron.
It seems that a night in a bar can be a tricky proposition for pro athletes. Just ask Charles Barkley, who has gotten into more than a few bar fights in his day.
As for Jared Allen, he's known as a guy tough guy with a pretty good sense of humor. He's done videos celebrating his mullet and says that he parties so hard that he has to spell 'party' with two "R's."
According to one report, he's also a down-to-earth guy who is quite loyal to his fiancee.
But what really struck me was when he talked about Frazier's commitment to his players.
"We spend our plane rides talking about our spirituality. We talk about our relationships, not only with my girlfriend, but also with my walk with Christ."
